Safety Checked are delighted to announce its partnership with Tyrrell Systems as an Approved CrossTalk 3 Provider.
What is CrossTalk?
Powered by Tyrrell, CrossTalk 3.1 is a multi-vendor graphical fire alarm reporting and management system which integrates fire panels and systems to co-exist on one platform and network, with the aim of providing businesses, building owners and fire management companies with the tools required to effectively monitor and manage their fire systems.
The CrossTalk solution removes the need for various software packages when different fire panels are installed. In fact, it connects multiple fire panels from different manufacturers, including Advanced, Kentec, Kidde, Ziton, Notifier, Morley and Gent plus many more, providing a centralised, easy to monitor and manage, responsive, user interface.
CrossTalk3.1 provides visibility of all the systems alarms whether this be pre alarm, fault or fire, in one user friendly responsive graphical system. Within the software, users have the ability to isolate and de-isolate devices and receive and acknowledge alarms; with the help of customisable action messages.
With CrossTalk3.1, you can view multiple buildings all on one system. For example, a newly built building will have the latest fire panel and systems installed, which will be different to that of its sister building. This ultimately means many different fire systems having to be monitored by one person, which is very inefficient. When CrossTalk3.1 is installed all these systems and more can exist together, in one fire reporting management tool. If the buildings are in different locations, the buildings can be integrated onto one screen, managing all alarms on one platform and network.
Based on Niagara4, CrossTalk3.1 is a web-based multi-vendor graphical reporting system with dedicated fire alarm reporting and management tool. It allows users, engineers and managers to control and monitor all the fire alarm systems in their building or campus, as well as providing an open platform for integration of many other systems on site, such as CCTV and security.
CrossTalk, in its original PC based incarnation, has been serving large and small sites for the last 20 years. By building CrossTalk3.1 on top of Niagara, all of the dedicated, brilliant features and benefits have been taken from its predecessor, including the dedicated reporting and alarm management, in the form of a dedicated browser and alarm management user interface for Windows and Linux. The system can be customised to play sounds and reveal custom actions and messages for specific devices or panels. The web-based custom user interface provides an isolation manager feature as well as the active device viewer, and more:
Maintenance is required annually – it’s the law! However, as the system grows, so does the data inputted into the analytics. Using this data, you can predict when maintenance will be required.
When managing a number of buildings, having engineers go out to each one can end up a costly affair. Using our analytical tool, CrossTalk3.1 to predict fire alarm faults, means you can reduce the number of engineer call-outs.
Mobile App & Device Isolation
Easily see what’s happening in your buildings from anywhere. No need to spend time and money sat at a desk watching all day long.
Offer a more secure and safer fire system by increasing the visibility of the site as the app can be installed on a number of devices.
When alarms need testing, they can be isolated and de-isolated easily from the command centre.
Easily isolating alarms means less time is spent on site, less time on site means less time travelling. The isolation manager automates this
process, saving money directly!
Compliance and Risk Management
Once installed at chosen location, the app cannot be closed. This is a fire safety requirement, meaning you can offer a fully compliant system.
Once an alarm does go off, an alert can be sent to a number of locations, giving clear instructions to each person on what to do.
Safety Checked Ltd were established in 2017 to provide Electrical and Fire Alarm Services. Since then we have grown significantly, employing six full-time staff and increasing our turnover year-on-year.
